Throwing a pot is one of those ‘it’s on my bucket list!’ things, and you can do just that, here at Tan y Ddraig, Conwy. It’s the perfect opportunity to have fun and a laugh with family and friends. Perfect for individuals, couples, friend and family groups.
A taster experience to introduce you the basics of throwing on a potter's wheel. The session will start with a demonstration before you dive in and get throwing. You will choose your favourite 2 bowls to keep. If there's time you will paint your bowls with underglaze. If not, you will choose the colour you'd like your pots to be glazed once the pots have dried and had their first firing. We will also give you a very quick tour of our kiln room so you can better understand the whole process from wet clay to the finished product.
